Dr. Mike Bardot

Dr. Michael Bardot received his Bachelor of Arts, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.  He is a graduate of Saint Louis University, having gained his Masters in Medieval History in 1998, a Certificate in Medieval and Renaissance Studies also in 1998, and his Ph. D. in Medieval History, with Minors in Ancient Rome and Early Modern Europe in 2004. He has been a University Professor since 2004, attaining the rank of Full Professor in 2013, teaching World History with an emphasis in the subject fields of his degree. Dr. Bardot has worked with the St. John Bosco Co-op in Saint Louis since its foundation, having been a tutor with the founding families of the Co-op since 1998. Classes he has taught for the Co-op include: Ancient History, Medieval History, American History, American Government/Economics, Historical Geography, Latin I, II, and III, and English Grammar and Research Methodology.  

Vicki Clayton

Vicki Clayton, mother of seven, has been homeschooling for over 15 years.  Math is one of her favorite subjects and she believes the logic and order of math concepts point to God, Creator of all Truth.  She has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University, Master of Science in Engineering Management from Missouri University of Science & Technology and 10 years work experience as a subsystems design engineer at The Boeing Company prior to becoming a full time homemaker.

Catherine Cortese

My name is Catherine Cortese. I have twelve children ranging in ages from 3 yrs. to 19 yrs. I’ve been homeschooling for over 15 yrs. I love teaching my children and preparing them for life. I’ve taught different subjects at a couple different coops for several years. I love watching my students figure things out on their own and watching them grow in their capabilities. I look forward to teaching again this year. 

Tammi Hall

Tammi Hall is a homeschool mom of 8 children.  She has been a stay-at-home mom for over 20 years and has learned to be creative and industrious in her homemaking.  She has a special interest in all things kitchen: gardening, cooking, baking, home-canning, meal planning, shopping, budgeting, etc.  She also enjoys needle arts, especially crochet and cross stitch.  She is excited about the opportunity to pass on the joys she has found in her daily life with her students.

Dana Heisserer

Dana Heisserer is a homeschooling mom of 8 with a background in nursing. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and spent over 19 years working in the ER of a local hospital. Most recently Dana has taught Anatomy and Physiology to the upper level high school students. 


Teresa Kahre

Teresa Kahre, mother of nine, ages 12-26, has been happily homeschooling her children for twenty-two years with the support of her husband Jim. She earned a B.A. in art with an English minor and an M.A. in Media Communications from Webster University. She worked at McDonnell Douglas where she met her husband. Then worked as the P.R. Manager for the Girl Scouts of Greater St. Louis. She enjoys spending time with her family, including her six grandchildren at their home near De Soto.

Michelle Malawey

Michelle Malawey is a professional violinist, strings teacher, and swing dance aficionado.  She earned Bachelor and Master of Music degrees with emphasis in Violin Performance, and is an active performer with the American Kantorei, Mira Piano Quintet, and in many other musical theater, symphonic, chamber and liturgical settings.  She teaches private violin lessons in her home studio and directs an after-school string program at Saint John Paul II Preparatory School.  Mrs. Malawey's study of dance began at age 3 with ballet, tap, and jazz; she continued through her teen years and served as an assistant instructor at Dance Art Studio.  In college she shifted her area of focus to swing dancing, through which she met her husband Phillip, with whom she still enjoys dancing and teaching.  They teach Beginning/Intermediate and Advanced Swing classes at the Chesterton Academy of St. Louis and have taught introductory swing workshops at Saint John Paul II Preparatory School, ARCH Co-Op, and for parent groups at Chesterton and the Saint Austin School.  Mrs. Malawey is the mother of five children, ages nine through twenty, and has been homeschooling or hybrid-schooling for 15 years.  She is thrilled to be able to share her love of music and dance with the Catholic homeschool community.


Anna Mason

Anna Mason is an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Physiologist with a background in strength training and sport performance. She graduated from Truman State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in December 2022. She currently works at Maryland Heights Community Center as personal trainer and fitness instructor. Anna is passionate about fitness and nutrition and enjoys helping others achieve their health and wellness goals. 

Maria Romine

Maria Romine is an actress, singer, English Country dance instructor, improv instructor, fight choreographer and entrepeneur.  Maria has been professionally acting since 1995. She is the Owner/Artistic Director of Swords and Roses® an all female stage combat troupe that performs at faires, festivals, conventions and parties. Maria has been professionally choreographing fights for 22 years and teaches classes in stage combat around the St. Louis area.  When she is not choreographing for Passion plays or Shakespeare festivals, Maria can be found battling in family-friendly improv at ComedySportz St. Louis, playing with fire and dry ice at Mad Science events, touring with Theater of the Word shows or starring in her own one-woman Mary Magdalene show.  Maria has appeared on three EWTN television series: The Theater of the Word, Inc.The Quest for Shakespeare and The Journey Home.

Natalie Schloss

Natalie Schloss is a St. Louis native and national award-winning professional artist. She graduated cum laude from the University of Dallas with a degree in Studio Art, Painting, and a minor in Art History. Natalie became a juried, resident studio artist at the Foundry Art Centre in 2013. As an art educator since 2014, she has taught art to hundreds of students in her studio and for notable organizations and schools including the Foundry Art Centre, St. Peters Cultural Arts Center, St. Joseph School - Josephville and St. John Bosco Homeschool Co-Op. She has mentored students from high school to college, and has professionally judged state art exhibitions for art councils and competitions. After nearly 10 years in her studio, Natalie now enjoys full-time motherhood and more private artistic endeavors.
